“In my last year of training I sustained an injury from being so overworked. I was referred by my teachers to see a medical professional outside of the school. During the appointment the man abused his power and sexually assaulted me. After finding the courage to come forward to the school a few months later, they told me there was nothing they could do and that they were still going to refer their students to see him. To make matters worse he had misdiagnosed my injury which then led me to sustain a more serious injury that required surgery.”
