Peer Support

Welcome to Dancers Anonymous Peer Support!

We are dancers supporting dancers in their Mental Health in a safe, intimate, virtual setting. Our facilitators are certified in Mental Health First Aid Training by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. We will alternate between two types of Peer Support Sessions: General/Open discussion where anything dancers would like to talk about is welcome, and a Focused/Topical discussion where we will have a particular subject of focus (i.e. Injuries/Treatment, Pay for Dancers, Eating Disorders etc.). To ensure each dancer has the time and space to share, we will be capping each Meeting at 12 attendees. As each dancer’s comfort level will be different, video may be off while we discuss and you are welcome to simply state your name as “Anonymous.”
